What is a Creative Profile?
A Creative Profile is a custom setting that can be individually applied over an already edited image. The coolest part is that because these profiles don’t affect any of the sliders in Lightroom, you can crank their intensity up or down as you please with no consequence to your edit. For Deirdre and Jon's color presets, we built the entire preset into the profile. This way you can turn the entire preset up or down which leaves all of the other sliders in the develop module untouched giving you the ability to make further adjustments on top of the preset. All in, this feature is a remarkably effective tool that takes an image from Wow to Whoa in a hurry.
DJ Clean 1
The foundation of Deirdre and Jon's editing style - this is the OG D+J preset. It's big on mood with deep blacks and just the right amount of contrast to keep skin tones looking as natural and gorgeous as possible.

A near carbon copy to DJ Clean 1, only punchier and with more contrast.

DJ Clean 3
DJ Clean 3 was created to soften warm and complex environments with cooler tones and gentle tints of green. It's an absolute go-to for editing shots taken in the city where light can be frenetic and variable(like SoHo). If you're needing to whisper some softness into a shot, this is the answer.

DJ Filmy 1
This is a great all-around preset suitable for many environments including blue hour, indoor shots, and even flash photography. You'll get a softer look that's balanced in both darks and lights while knocking contrast down a smidge. Warmer shadows and cooler highlights round out this preset with the nostalgia of classic film stocks.

DJ Filmy 3
Inspired by the ultra smooth Ektar film, DJ Filmy 3 is without a doubt the boldest preset in the pack. Washing images in warmth and layering in pops of color, it teases out brighter highlights to emphasize the contrast in tonality.

DJ Filmy 4
Portra 400 is a default film stock for Deirdre and Jon's client work as it's arguably one of the best film stocks for skin tones that has a charming feel of nostalgia. DJ Filmy 4 echoes the best qualities of Portra 400 with a slight update. You'll find a bit more green the shadows and colors that remain as true-to-life as possible. For the real film enthusiasts, you'll even notice that this preset has that uniquely slight fade in the shadows often happens often while shooting film.

DJ Monochrome 1
This preset is fast and loose and a whole lot of fun. It's got that ‘shot in a hurry with settings not fully accurate’ vibe you'd see from the paparazzi. Contrasted with deep blacks and white hot flashes for a truly iconic mood from the past.

DJ Monochrome 2
Keeping the priority on intimacy, this black and white is much softer than Monochrome 1 and looks fantastic when used on both close ups and full body shots.
